In September 2021, I painted a Series of sunflowers the entire month. I explored painting these beautiful flowers under different lighting conditions, different backdrops etc to get a deeper understanding of the subject and above all, have fun! This painting is part of the collection.
There are thick luscious brushstrokes and interesting paint passages for the viewer to enjoy. The colours in the image are as close to the original as possible, they look even better in person.
